www.workforceconnection.org was developed to make services more readily available for job seekers and employers, and extend those services throughout Central Oregon. In addition to a training calendar, newsletter, and service finder, you will find links to comprehensive sites for on-line classifieds, job training, employment regulations, and general employment information. The services provided by the Central Oregon Workforce Connection come from six partner organizations: Adult and Family Services (AFS), Central Oregon Community Action Agency Network (COCAAN), Central Oregon Community College (COCC), Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC), Oregon Employment Department, and Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation Division. www.centraloregon.org was developed to help residents and visitors find local websites and services more efficiently. In addition to a local search engine and links to Central Oregon websites and information, the Community Network contains a community calendar and forum, local weather and news, a question of the week, traffic cameras, and road reports. The Community Network is a project of the Central Oregon Telecommunications Task Force (COTel). |
